Alexandre Chemla is the Founder and CEO of ALTOUR, one of the leading travel management companies both in the U.S. and globally. Founded in 1991, ALTOUR is a division of Internova Travel Group, has 57 offices and with more than 2,000 travel professionals worldwide.
ALTOUR’s corporate travel business aligned with Travel Leaders Corporate under the ALTOUR brand in 2020 to form a new division under Internova Travel Group, a global travel services company with a presence in more than 80 countries. ALTOUR focuses on corporate travel management fulfillment, data and insights, and strategic meetings and incentive management, in addition to its entertainment and leisure businesses.

Prior to founding ALTOUR, Mr. Chemla served as a consultant for a variety of airlines and hotel companies, including Hyatt Corporation and Disney Enterprises. Earlier in his career, he served for 10 years in various senior executive roles at Club Med, Inc.
Mr. Chemla serves on the Board of Directors of Internova Travel Group and is active in or serves on the board of several organizations. Among those is the French American Chamber of Commerce, New York Chapter; the French Institute Alliance Française; the French Foreign Trade Advisors; and the French-American Aid for Children organization. He has been awarded a French Tourism Office Gold Medal for Tourism. Mr. Chemla is based in ALTOUR’S New York City headquarters.
