Agent Essentials and Boot Camp provide new Nexion members enhanced skills and confidence in accessing Nexion’s suite of programs and tools. Nexion’s exclusive Specialty Summits and Events are designed for agents specializing in romance travel, luxury travel, corporate travel and groups – providing agent members with a deep dive into these growing and lucrative niches, with robust business development and marketing training and allowing them to take advantage of participating suppliers’ expertise.

Nexion Announces Wide Array of 2017 Educational Offerings to Meet Growing and Varied Agent Demand

New in 2017, Nexion travel agent members seeking to grow their businesses through innovative marketing techniques are invited to apply to attend the Master Marketing Symposium. This select group of agents will gather in Minneapolis, MN, from June 20 to 22, to develop rigorous marketing plans that will help significantly move the needle for their individual businesses. All Master Marketing Symposium participants will receive individualized coaching after the conference.

All Nexion members are invited to attend the Group and Romance Travel Sales Summits, while the Luxury Travel Sales Summit will focus on invited attendees who have a focus on upscale travel, and Corporate CoNexions is geared to members whose businesses are mainly business travel.

 

In 2017, Nexion will offer five Agent Essentials training opportunities throughout the year. These intensive five-day seminars are each designed specifically for the new independent travel agent. By the completion of the course, attendees will be able to book air, cruise, cars, hotels, and sell travel insurance with confidence. For experienced travel professionals who are new to Nexion, as well as those new to the travel industry, Nexion offers a three-day Boot Camp with the next scheduled for July 21-23. The format of Boot Camp provides attendees with training on Nexion tools and programs, sales and marketing classes, and access to over 20 of Nexion’s supplier partners. At the conclusion, attendees are automatically enrolled in the virtual program Boot Camp 2.0 to continue to build on the skills they learned during the course. Additionally, there will be a multitude of training opportunities during CoNexion 2017, which will be held September 16-19, 2017, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

 

For those member agents who are unable to travel for training, Nexion offers a wide variety of live and recorded webinars and will also continue offering its Nexion on the Road regional events in local communities. Six cities across the United States will be visited by Nexion’s team so that members can meet face-to-face with supplier partners and their local business development managers. In 2017, Nexion on the Road will be held in: Fort Lauderdale, FL; Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Las Vegas, NV; and Austin, TX.
