Stephen McGillivray, CTC, is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer of Travel Leaders Group. As Travel Leaders Group’s chief marketing and communications executive, Mr. McGillivray is responsible for all marketing activities and related synergies throughout the enterprise. These responsibilities include all business-to-business and business-to-consumer channels. As a member of Travel Leaders Group’s senior leadership team, Mr. McGillivray directs the marketing and communications strategies of the various business units across the group, and he also contributes to the strategic direction of the company.

Mr. McGillivray is a longtime veteran of the travel industry. Prior to his role as chief marketing executive of Travel Leaders Group, Mr. McGillivray served as vice president of marketing and public relations for, which was acquired by Travel Leaders Group in December 2010. Mr. McGillivray came to in August 2000 directly from the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), the travel agency industry’s trade association. At ASTA, Mr. McGillivray served as its senior vice president of sales and marketing. Mr. McGillivray began his travel industry career with the National Railroad Passenger Corp. (Amtrak), first in field sales and then at the corporate headquarters in marketing.


In addition to earning his Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation from the Travel Institute, Mr. McGillivray earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Rhode Island.
