NEW YORK (July 28, 2025) – Wynona Dyer, a veteran in private aviation procurement who served as cofounder and partner of ALTOUR Air, an air charter brokerage with customers worldwide, has announced that she will be retiring as of July 31.
Dyer is a highly regarded and seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in private aviation. Prior to cofounding ALTOUR Air, she worked in sales and dispatch for Turnberry Aviation in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area and as a regional sales manager for Business Jet Solutions.
She cofounded ALTOUR Air in 2005 in partnership with ALTOUR. Her goal was to meet the private air travel needs of the global travel management company’s substantial client base. “Wynona Dyer has helped build ALTOUR Air into an industry leader that provides unparalleled service,” said Peter Vlitas, Executive Vice President, Partner Relations for Internova Travel Group, which will now take full ownership of the company. “Going forward, we are dedicated to maintaining the high standards that she has set for ALTOUR Air.”
As a result of Dyer’s departure, Kate Scott, currently Charter Sales Manager of ALTOUR Air, has been promoted to Vice President and will report to Vlitas. Curt Pentecost, Senior Manager of Charter Operations, and new hire Joanne Rivera will also be joining Internova’s Partner Relations team.
