Mendola, who has been with the company for 10 years, will lead GTC UK’s long-term business strategy

LONDON (July 29, 2025) – Global Travel Collection (GTC), the most influential network of independent travel advisors worldwide and part of Internova Travel Group, is proud to announce the formal appointment of Francesca Mendola as Managing Director, GTC UK.

Mendola, who has been with GTC for ten years, has already been overseeing the UK business in practice for the past year as Vice President, UK. In that time, she has led the integration of Altour Independent Contractors to GTC, driven long-term strategic planning, overseen financial performance, supported advisor engagement and retention, and served as GTC’s senior representative across the industry.

In her capacity as Managing Director, Mendola will continue to drive GTC UK’s strategic direction, manage financial performance, and champion the company’s community of independent advisors across the entertainment, corporate, and leisure sectors. She will also continue representing GTC at industry events and public forums.

Earlier this year, Mendola was appointed to the Board of the Business Travel Association. She has also been voted one of the Association of Women Travel Executives’ Top 70 Inspiring Women who are shaping the travel industry.
