At ARRIVE 2026, Global Travel Collection Makes a Bold Case for the Future of Luxury Travel Advisors

June 9, 2026

The best advisors combine personal expertise with the support systems that help them advocate for clients, solve problems and create exceptional experiences.

More than 650 advisors, partners and industry leaders are gathered in Austin as GTC positioned scale, specialization and advisor profitability as defining forces shaping the next era of luxury travel

AUSTIN, TEXAS (June 8, 2026) — Global Travel Collection (GTC), the luxury division of Internova Travel Group, one of the world’s largest travel services companies, used the opening day of ARRIVE 2026 to deliver a clear message to the luxury travel industry: the future of luxury travel belongs to highly specialized advisors equipped to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Held at Fairmont Austin, GTC’s flagship conference brought together more than 650 luxury travel advisors, preferred partners, media and industry leaders for a week of curated networking, strategic business discussions and future-focused programming designed around the realities of today’s luxury travel market.

Unlike traditional trade shows, ARRIVE was structured around how luxury travelers are actually exploring the world today, with destination- and experience-based tracks spanning hotels, cruise, private travel, wellness, entertainment travel, adventure and emerging destinations. The format created more targeted opportunities for advisors and partners to connect around aligned client demand, business priorities and revenue opportunities.

Programming throughout the week will focus heavily on advisor growth and profitability, with sessions covering artificial intelligence, social content strategy, luxury wellness, entertainment travel, air revenue opportunities and scaling advisor businesses into multimillion-dollar enterprises.

During her opening keynote address, GTC President Angie Licea said exceptional luxury travel service increasingly depends on the strength of an advisor’s partner relationships, operational support and technology. While personalized expertise remains essential, she argued that advisors are best positioned to serve clients when backed by organizations that can provide greater access, advocacy and business support.

“The best advisors combine personal expertise with the support systems that help them advocate for clients, solve problems and create exceptional experiences,” Licea said.

Licea emphasized that GTC’s scale, including $2.4 billion in annual sales last year and nearly 900 bookings exceeding $100,000, strengthens advisors’ ability to deliver stronger client outcomes while building larger, more profitable businesses.

Executives throughout the day highlighted GTC’s continued investment in advisor technology, business support and revenue-driving programs, particularly in categories such as air, where the organization continues to outperform much of the broader market.

“The future of luxury travel does not belong to generalists,” Licea said. “It belongs to advisors with deep expertise who can deliver meaningful value, advocacy and access for their clients.”

The conference also reflected a broader industry trend: as luxury travelers increasingly prioritize expertise, advocacy and personalized access, advisor organizations are playing a larger role in helping advisors deliver differentiated experiences.

ARRIVE also highlighted GTC’s expanding visibility across the industry through advisor-focused storytelling initiatives, strategic partnerships and trade media campaigns designed to elevate the role of the modern luxury travel advisor.

The conference continues through the week with advisor town halls, engagement sessions, partner meetings and business development programming.
