“Josh joined Protravel in 2010 and has become a remarkable standout advisor over the years. It’s very exciting that he has received the award as the most admired advisor as his continued success is all due to his drive to be the best,” said Protravel President Becky Powell. “Josh offers exceptional service and has grown his business tremendously by attracting top talent and mentoring up and coming advisors. We are extremely proud to have him as a luxury advisor at Protravel.”
Receiving this award is a direct result of the depth and wealth of knowledge of this luxury travel advisor and his commitment to providing Protravel clients with flawless and memorable travel experiences, she added.
Powell said that she was proud that Jesse Katz of Protravel was also nominated as a 2019 Virtuoso Rising Star. “Jesse’s work ethic and dedication to his clients will only help him continue to grow. I look forward to seeing what’s next for him.”
“This honor for Josh and Jesse’s nomination is incredibly significant as only a small fraction of the network’s 20,000 advisors and 1,000-plus travel agency members are recognized at Virtuoso Travel Week,” said Travel Leaders Group President J.D. O’Hara.
More than 140 luxury travel advisors from Protravel attended the annual event to stay on top of the hottest travel trends and learn the latest developments within the luxury travel market from hoteliers, tour operators, destination marketing companies, cruise lines, airlines and other notable suppliers.
Powell said it has been a landmark year for the 35-year-old brand which introduced a major training and business development program this spring called “The Journeys,” rolled out a new brand and marketing strategy and has expanded by opening new offices in Texas and in several markets in California.
