21 Nov Family Bonds Foundation Launches Fundraising Drive in Wake of California Wildfires
Charitable organization operated by Travel Leaders Group designed to support travel industry personnel and others in local communities
NEW YORK, N.Y. (November 21, 2018) — In response to the recent wildfires in California that have killed dozens and displaced thousands, the Family Bonds Foundation, a nonprofit arm of Travel Leaders Group, is announcing a call for donations and grant applications. The Family Bonds Foundation was founded in 2015 as a charitable organization to serve the needs of those who work in the travel industry as well as the broader community. Travel Leaders Group will provide a matching donation for the first $5,000 raised during the special fundraising drive.
“We know these fires have resulted in homes and lives being devastated and, through the Family Bonds Foundation, we are undertaking a fundraising initiative and invitation to apply for grants to support those in need,” said Ninan Chacko, CTC, Chief Executive Officer of Travel Leaders Group.
The foundation is supported by donations from individuals and companies and gives grants directly to nominated individuals. Family Bonds Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charity.
