Global Travel Collection Expands, Adds 63 Luxury Advisors
New Advisors Represent More Than $75 Million in Annual Sales Growth
NEW YORK (January 26, 2023) – This past year, Global Travel Collection (GTC), the most influential community of luxury travel agencies, added 63 luxury travel advisors to its sophisticated set who represent an estimated total annual sales growth of more than $75 million.
“I’m thrilled to welcome new advisors to our team. They are joining the best travel professionals in our industry and we are committed to providing them with the best support in our industry.
-Angie Licea, President, Global Travel Collection
As an industry leader in leisure, corporate and entertainment travel, GTC, part of Internova Travel Group, produces a large number of bookings in the luxury travel market in the United States alone. That translates into tremendous buying power, enabling GTC to offer the industry’s best airline and supplier contracts, with high-commission deals that can substantially increase a travel advisor’s potential earnings.
With that in mind, the process to become part of Global Travel Collection has become more rigorous.
“We’re focused on bringing on serious players who are the right cultural fit for what we are building,” said Susan Duffy, GTC’s Vice President of Growth Strategy. “There are so many people looking to break into this industry, but we’ve become a lot more selective in terms of the types of travel advisors and businesses we are looking to bring under our umbrella. We look for experienced luxury travel advisors with high growth potential who want to be part of our community of like-minded entrepreneurs.”
In addition to its highly experienced teams that offer support for leisure, corporate and entertainment bookings, GTC provides a wide range of air, business consulting, marketing, technology, training and business development services. The company recently launched new professional development courses that are designed to help experienced advisors continue to grow and scale their businesses.
GTC advisors are also part of a community that they can tap into through events, networking with supplier partners, advisory boards and leadership meetings. Communication channels enable advisors to chat with their colleagues across the country, sharing expertise and product knowledge.
All of these offerings have been instrumental in attracting new travel advisors to the Collection. Worth noting, are two of the industry’s top producing luxury travel advisors who left GTC in 2018 and have recently returned.
“We’re excited to bring our agency back to Global Travel Collection,” said business partners Robert Goldstein and Joshua Greenberg, co-owners of G Squared Travel. “We and our staff are looking forward to a successful collaboration and rewarding future with the company.”
GTC is planning to launch new initiatives early this year that will further strengthen the company’s ability to support its community of travel entrepreneurs, increase brand awareness and continue to solidify its position as the industry leader in leisure, corporate and entertainment travel.
“Travel is making a strong comeback, and the businesses that succeed will need access to proven tools, training and technology,” said Angie Licea, President, Global Travel Collection. “I’m thrilled to welcome new advisors to our team. They are joining the best travel professionals in our industry and we are committed to providing them with the best support in our industry.”
