Herrera, Executive Vice President of Partner Relations, Named International Ambassador of Firenze at Prestigious Gathering of Industry Leaders

FLORENCE, ITALY (September 25, 2025) – Albert Herrera, Executive Vice President of Partner Relations at Internova Travel Group, one of the world’s largest travel services companies, has been recognized as International Ambassador of Firenze at Eccellenze 2025, a prestigious invitation-only event celebrating international luxury hospitality.

The three-day gathering, held September 22–24 at Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Resorts Collection, brought together an elite roster of Italian and international leaders. Hosted by Collegio alla Querce, Arno Travel and the Destination Florence Foundation, the event combined networking with intimate discussions on the future of luxury travel, including topics such as sustainability.

The program, designed to highlight Florence as a destination, also included exclusive experiences such as a wine-tasting, dinner prepared by a Michelin-starred chef, tour of a 15th-century abbey and a gala featuring contemporary Italian cuisine.

Year after year, Italy is one of Internova Travel Group’s top-selling destinations and Eccellenze provided an opportunity to showcase the best of Florence and Tuscany to an audience of leading luxury travel opinion makers. Organizers plan to make it an annual event.

“Florence, like every great destination in the world, needs to keep telling its story, to showcase its venues, its beauty, its innovations and, above all, the people who embody the very best of Tuscany,” said Urbano Brini, Chief of Luxury Travel at Arno Travel.

Herrera received the distinction during a gala dinner at Collegio alla Querce, a Renaissance-era villa recently transformed into a luxury 83-room hotel.

“I’m grateful to be acknowledged by so many of my colleagues,” said Herrera, a travel industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience. “The travel industry is built on connections and partnerships, and this event has been a wonderful opportunity to strengthen those relationships while experiencing the culture and beauty of Florence and Tuscany.”

Herrera’s recognition underscores Internova’s leadership in fostering global partnerships and shaping the future of luxury travel. To learn more about Internova’s luxury partnerships, please visit internovatravel.com.
