With more than 20 years of executive financial leadership, Robert Klug serves as Chief Financial Officer for Internova Travel Group.
In this role, Mr. Klug oversees the controller, financial planning and analysis, treasury, and tax functions of one of North America’s leading travel companies, which specializes in corporate, leisure, luxury, meetings and entertainment travel. Mr. Klug has deep experience developing world-class finance organizations, driving growth in revenue and earnings organically and through acquisitions.
The role of the finance team is to partner with the business to drive performance and customer service, while ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial information and providing insight from that information to effectively manage and grow the business.
Before joining Internova Travel Group as Corporate Controller in 2019, Mr. Klug was the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller for Quest Diagnostics, where he played a pivotal role in leading the company through a period of strong revenue and earnings growth, significant acquisitions, divestitures of non-core assets and financing activities. He joined Quest Diagnostics in 2014.
Mr. Klug previously served as the Chief Accounting Officer for Global Crossing, where he held senior financial positions of increasing responsibility, including CFO of the North America region, and played a pivotal role in the company’s IPO, restructuring activities to emerge from bankruptcy, and sale of the company to Centurylink. He also worked with PwC Canada and PwC Bermuda.
Mr. Klug holds a Bachelor of Business Commerce from University of Alberta and is a Canadian CPA.
