The highly popular Regionals will return in 2019, taking place in several locations around the country, with select Regionals featuring a client travel show for the first time this year. Additionally, Nexion Travel Group will offer a broad range of specialty events, along with the organization’s annual international conference, CoNexion, taking place in September.

During Nexion Travel Group’s Regionals, company leadership educates members on how to get the most out of Nexion Travel Group programs, network and take part in presentations and trade shows from supplier partners. All Regionals are complimentary for attendees. In 2019, Regionals in West Palm Beach, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Baltimore will, for the first time, offer a consumer night. Nexion Travel Group members attending these Regionals will have the opportunity to invite clients to the consumer night which will feature select travel suppliers as well as a presentation from a destination expert.

For 2019, Corporate CoNexions will transition from an invitation-only event to open application. Robbi Jumaa Hamida, Senior Vice President of Nexion Travel Group and leader of the Corporate CoNexions specialty event explained, “We started this event as an intimate group for travel advisors who have a majority of their business in corporate travel. Over the years, we have seen an uptick in members who see corporate travel as a lucrative specialty. As a result, Corporate CoNexions has grown and we are thrilled to open it to a larger group so members can increase their corporate travel business.”

Registration is also open for the Marketing specialty event, to be held in Minneapolis in July. This multi-day event offers Nexion Travel Group members the chance to develop marketing plans for their own business, as well as work with fellow travel advisors to develop an actionable travel agency business plan. Subject matter experts from Travel Leaders Group and Nexion Travel Group’s supplier partners will be on hand to provide guidance and share skills.
