“I was proud to accept this award as the top-selling luxury travel agency member of Virtuoso on behalf of all of our dedicated advisors and staff,” said Protravel President Becky Powell. “Receiving this award is a direct result of the depth and wealth of knowledge of our luxury travel advisors, and their commitment to providing Protravel clients with flawless and memorable travel experiences. It’s especially exciting since we are celebrating two milestones, 15 years as the Top Virtuoso Producer, and our 20th anniversary with them as well.”
Protravel was also honored with two additional Virtuoso award nominations (whose winners will be announced Thursday):
-Jesse Katz, nominated for the 2019 Virtuoso Rising Star Award
-Josh Alexander, nominated for the 2019 Virtuoso Most Admired Advisor
“Protravel’s continued success is all due to our advisors who always strive to be the best,” said Powell. “The luxury travel advisors at Protravel are dedicated to staying on top of the hottest travel trends and learning all of the latest developments within the luxury travel market from luxury hotels, tour operators, destination marketing companies, cruise lines, airlines and other notable suppliers.”
Powell said it has been a landmark year for the 35-year-old brand which introduced a major training and business development program this spring called “The Journeys,” rolled out a new brand and marketing strategy and has expanded by opening new offices in Texas and in several markets in California.
With over 140 travel advisors and employees from Protravel attending the event, it was the largest contingent in its history.
