Mahan joined Travel Leaders / Rennert Travel in March of 2016 as a general leisure agent. During that time, she has completed a number of rigorous certifications, including becoming an Australia and South Pacific leisure specialist. She has also completed the Travel Leaders Leisure Specialist and Active & Adventure Travel Specialist programs and is on target to complete the Travel Leaders Luxury Specialist program in June 2018. Mahan is also working on her Certified Travel Associate designation, which is a continuing education program that allows her to attain additional product knowledge and remain current on industry trends.

As a result of Mahan’s certification as an Active & Adventure Travel specialist, she has been selected to attend the Adventure Elevate Convention in Banff in the Canadian province of Alberta in March. Also, among Mahan’s accolades, she was recognized in 2017 by Travel Agent magazine as a “30 under 30” highly accomplished travel professional.
