New York, NY (August 29, 2017) — Today, Protravel International proudly announced that four of its Protravel agent advisors have the honor of being singled out for their high level of knowledge and expertise by Travel + Leisure with its newly-released “2017 A-List of Top Travel Advisors.” Josh Alexander is recognized for planning exceptional destination weddings and honeymoons; Robert Becker is, once again, acknowledged for his expertise in planning diving-related travel; Amalia Lazarov for her knowledge of the United Arab Emirates; and Nathalie Nagy for her expertise in Central Europe. Furthermore, Protravel International President Gail Grimmett is included by virtue of her role as a member of the Travel + Leisure Travel Advisory Board.

Central Europe
Protravel’s Nathalie Nagy is listed as the expert travel agent for Central Europe by Travel + Leisure. Nagy is fluent in Hungarian and German. Travel +Leisure also pointed out that “This part-time Budapest resident keeps close tabs on openings and developing points of interest in the region’s popular destinations, such as Prague and Vienna, as well as emerging ones like Romania and Slovenia.”
Nagy has also “planned special occasions such as a private concert on one of Mozart’s pianos at his birthplace in Salzburg, Austria, and an after-hours tour of the Lobmeyr glass workshop in Vienna.”
Scuba Diving
Once again, Protravel’s Robert Becker, a certified PADI Divemaster, was noted for diving-related travel by Travel + Leisure. The publication points out that “Because of his connections in marine-research circles, Becker gets tipped off to excursions that don’t come across the average agent’s desk. Recently, one of his clients joined a biodiversity research expedition in the remote Phoenix Islands Protected Area, in the Pacific island nation of Kiribati. He also makes a point of working with outfitters who support local economies and are focused on conservation.”
United Arab Emirates
Amalia Lazarov specializes in the United Arab Emirates, corporate travel and Asia. Travel + Leisure said, “As the U.A.E. has grown more popular with travelers for its culture and cuisine, Lazarov’s clients turn to her for insider expertise and itineraries that include seven-star hotel stays and private high-end shopping. Lazarov is especially skilled at arranging compelling cultural activities—an early morning photography drive or a dinner with local architects—between meetings or other business commitments.”
Weddings and Honeymoons
This year’s A-List highlighted Josh Alexander for his expertise in planning destination weddings and honeymoons to multiple destinations. Travel + Leisure stated that “While he’s only been in the business for eight years, Alexander is already a go-to advisor for romance travel. The former attorney loves planning trips with complicated logistics: a self-driving trip through Scotland, say, or a multi-country Asian food tour.” Additionally, “Alexander will hunt for eco-minded hotels, light-footprint tours, and voluntourism experiences, no matter your destination.”
